Since qualifying from NUI Galway with a BSc honours degree in Podiatry, I have been working in both private practice and hospital settings. This variety of clinical experience has given me an array of knowledge and skills to enable me to provide the highest level of clinical standards to my patients.
I have a keen interest in the diabetic foot and lower limb biomechanics. I regularly draw up treatment and management plans for musculoskeletal and sports injury patients. I am also confident in evaluating, planning and delivering treatment to patients with diabetes and I strongly adhere to the National Model of Care for the Diabetic Foot.
I strive in evidence based practice, to improve the lives of others and I endeavour to maintain a high standard of continuous professional development. September 2014, I began a MSc in Podiatry, specialising in the diabetic foot and tissue viability.
I am confident in my abilities and passionate in providing the highest level of professional podiatry service to my patients.
